Wild Frontiers Foundation
The Wild Frontiers Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Wild Frontiers. Established in 2009, its purpose is to raise awareness, generate funding and support projects in destinations where we operate.
Supporting communities in the places we visit has long been an important part of the Wild Frontiers approach. Through the foundation, we provide funding to grassroots projects that we have established ourselves or support through trusted charity partners. These include initiatives focused on education, community development, the empowerment of local people and conservation.
Alongside fundraising campaigns and appeals throughout the year, a £5 donation is made to the foundation on behalf of every client who travels with Wild Frontiers.

Emergency Relief

Pakistan Flood Appeal
As the news and shocking images came out of Pakistan at the end of August 2022, we responded with the launch of an emergency flood appeal to assist with the disaster relief efforts. The appeal raised in excess of £11,000, the majority distributed through our charity partner, the Aga Khan Foundation and its Network Development agencies. Funds were also donated to communities in the Kalash Valleys to restore water channels.
Afghanaid Humanitarian Appeals
The Wild Frontiers Foundation is a proud supporter of Afghanaid, a humanitarian charity working tirelessly to support the people of Afghanistan. During challenging times in 2022, made worse through drought, the Wild Frontiers Foundation donated £1330 to the Afghanaid's Crisis Appeal to fund food parcels for 20 Afghan families for four months. Again in 2023 we donated £1000 to support earthquake relief.
Kalash Valley Floods - Pakistan
After unexpected heavy rainfall in northern Pakistan in July 2013, a flash flood tore through the Kalash Valley destroying much in its wake. In excess of £4000 was sent to the people of the Kalash, a marginalised minority tribe in this remote and almost inaccessible region, to assist with recovery efforts and help rebuild the water channels, fix damaged buildings and plant new crops.
