The Hunza Serena Inn, previously Baltit Inn, enjoys a spectacular location near Karimabad, one of the oldest settlements of the Hunza Valley. Built on a sloping hill of 6 acres of flower gardens, facing the valley in the shore of the Hunza River, the hotel commands magnificent views over Mount Rakaposhi, Ulter Peak (7510 m) and the 13th century Baltit Fort. This excellent property combining the traditional heritage with tranquility offers some of the best accommodation in the area and features 80 comfortable and well sized rooms, each featuring modern decor and a luxury bathroom with traditional flourishes in the rich textiles.The Osho Maraka Restaurant serves the best food in the entire valley, and from June to mid September traditional barbecue is served at the Diran Terraces accompanied by local live music.
