Set on Oman's highest mountain, the Jebel Shams Resort consists of a collection of 29 chalets and tents all providing wonderful views across the landscape. All are comfortably fitted out with the chalets providing en suite and all with their own fire pits. The restaurant provides views out to the mountains and barbecue options are available along with a range of traditional food. The camp is in the best location for people wanting to enjoy the Omani Grand Canyon as you can walk straight from the camp to see it. The hotel has a telescope with which to star gaze and cycling and walking trips can be arranged. The hotel also has a pool. Currently the hotel does not have a license to serve alcohol.
