So many ingredients go into making a successful holiday and on my 'Village India' trip, I found the perfect mix - great planning and organisation, a small friendly group, a tour leader and his aides who were genuinely enthusiastic about the trip and very knowledgeable about all aspects of India, an interesting variety of comfortable accommodation and very importantly for me, bearable temperatures. I liked the fact it was a more or less fully inclusive holiday with only a small tips kitty to contribute to at the beginning.
