I am always on the lookout for trips 'off the beaten track' trips. Having been to that part of the world before I had an idea what to expect, and came home satiated – especially by the scenery, wide open spaces and the helicopter trip to the glacier. Bearing in mind this was not a ‘sit on a beach’ holiday I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation, and the food was varied enough to be interesting at the end of the trip and I was pleased to have so much fruit and veg. A word of advice to future travellers? I would thoroughly recommend padded cycling shorts.
