There were so many highlights: wonderful scenery, back-tingling reminders of ancient civilisation, lovely hosts, especially in the ordinary basic homes - maybe the best was the spontaneous and unexpected midday meal provided to all 9 of us by the lovely shepherd and his wife in their hut way up in the hills and their refusal to accept any recompense. Wonderful! Accommodation was all excellent, bearing in mind some of the mid-trek locations. They were a lovely bonus at the end of each day, and where the accommodation was, inevitably, basic, the adventure and fun element compensated fully. Food was excellent throughout and restaurants/other eating arrangements all of a very high standard. The last night meal in Antalya was "out of this world"
