This was our second trip with Wild Frontiers and expectations were high based on our previous experience. I have to say that they were met, especially in terms of the guides used and landscapes visited. I thought I would come back all excited about the Big 5, but surprisingly I found the geology, landscapes and even the smaller birds that we saw throughout our trip as interesting as the Big 5 that most people crave after. Going from salt flats in Etosha, through the mountains towards Epupa and then down to the dunes in Swakopmund was really quite amazing. I shall not forget our close encounter with the bull elephant, quad biking in the dunes at sunset or the Sossus Vlei at sunrise.
