Had an amazing holiday to India with Wild Frontiers on their Taj, temples and tigers tour. From the outset the company far exceeded my expectations, their ethical approach to tourism and travel for a start, and their genuine enthusiasm at the time of booking, together with a packed agenda that covered so many diverse experiences. I think the key to their success is the use of small group sizes because you don't feel like you are on a huge school trip, and the group has the ability to flex and adapt easily to individuals' requests. I had never previously considered group travel because I didn't want to be part of one of those huge parties that takes over wherever they go, but a small group is entirely different and enables you to have interactions with local people that I found very humbling and enriching. The group leader was Indian so this enabled easy dialogue wherever we went, he was charming, accommodating and knowledgeable and very good at sussing out our interests and wishes. I would definitely recommend this trip and this company with no reservations.
