Really, really, really enjoyed this trip, my 7th 'adventure' with Wild Frontiers and this one ranks very highly indeed. I have travelled extensively around India but never managed to get to Orissa so this trip 'ticked' all the boxes, the tribal people and temples were fascinating and the surrounding countryside just stunning. We travelled in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus and never had any very long days on the road, just enough to get a taste of the scenery. Our guides Manoj and leader J.P were superb, learnt so much from the pair of them. Food was delicious and accommodation was more than adequate, the 5 nights we had staying in palaces was very special. Meeting the Indian Royals was an experience one doesn't get every day! All in all, super, if you love India and want something different, go on this trip!
