For a long time I'd wanted to visit northern Pakistan and was rewarded with a holiday that exceeded expectations throughout especially the spectacular scenery and the kindness and wide smiles of the people, although my smile was wider! The itinerary and the trip were excellently planned and run, Jonny's enthusiasm contagious and we had the added excitement of being the first trip back since 9/11 and encountered not a sniff of hostility.
