I loved Colombia. Every day had a highlight for me - the gold museum in Bogota, the town of Villa de Leyva and its fireworks, the salt cathedral, unexpectedly the whole day in Medellín, Botero's sculptures, the spectacular Christmas lights along the river and the amazing entertainment at the night club, historic Cartagena and the rainforest coming right down to tropical beaches in Tayrona National Park - not forgetting the mud volcano! The trip was an unforgettable mix of different landscapes and activities.
