The riding was long and hard, and it was at times, very cold (and snowy!) but the rewards were fantastic – amazing passes filled with gentians, edelweiss etc, fantastic panoramas over huge areas of mountains, iced with snow, riding up to over 4,000m to see the Chinese border and the road to Kashgar. Delicious food cooked by Lilia, and lots of entertainment and laughter care of Dom, Richard and the rest of the crew, including a spot of marmotte hunting by Yokey Parky (the dog!)
