The drive between Potosi and Uyuni, especially our stop at Pulacayo mining community, the salt hotel and salt flats, railway graveyard at Uyuni - these were the reasons I wanted to visit Bolivia and they did not disappoint! I loved the accommodation (especially the Salt Hotel and the Parador in Sucre) and it was lovely to spend the last part of the tour in sunny Coroico - a suitable wind-down amid fantastic scenery.
