I am an older, inexperienced traveller and have just returned from my first ever 'adventure' holiday. It was a super-fun experience thanks to Wild Frontiers, our wonderful tour guides and my lovely travelling companions. I've always wanted to visit Kashmir and particularly to see lotus in bloom. Dal Lake was magical and staying on a houseboat unforgettable. Our knowledgable guides made sure we didn't get lost in town without making us feel we were on a school excursion, advised on etiquette and got us safely through Srinagar airport (twice!)

Having been a bit apprehensive about joining a group as a single traveller, I found myself surrounded by interesting, friendly, helpful people who I hope to catch up with again on future trips.
