You'll feel transported back in time at the Nizwa Heritage Inn, set in the historic Alaqr suburb of Nizwa. The traditional design is maintained throughout the property, with mud walls and large wooden doors helping to celebrate the ancient architecture of the region. Rooms and communal areas are spread across a selection of old houses, originally the residence of politicians and scholars. The rooms are fit with your basic amenities and private (very small) bathrooms, with just a handful coming with shared bathroom facilities. The property is in a great location just minutes away from Nizwa Fort and the main market area, and serves local dishes accompanied by lovely views of the old town.
