Baros is a stunning luxury island retreat located in the North Male Atoll and a 25-minute speedboat ride from the airport. The resort has a combination of villas and residences, some located on the beach and others overwater in the lagoon. Baros easily blends the contemporary and the rustic - combining traditional stone beach villas with coconut thatched roofs and teak floors set against modern and stylish interiors. The exquisite water villas lead out into the turquoise lagoon and have private sundecks. The beach villas are equally charming with a little more space and privacy. The property has three magnificent restaurants to choose from, offering the best of local cuisine and al fresco dining with mesmerising sea views. The resort has a wonderful spa and offers a range of activities such as PADI diving, water sports and sunset cruises. Make sure to take a private trip on Nooma, the resort's beautiful dhoni, or alternatively charter their luxury yacht for a majestic cruise in the Atoll.
