Explore Little Petra
Less-visited but equally charming, Little Petra was thought to have been a commercial area where caravans would have paused. The Bedouin are still able to sleep in the caves here, which they are not allowed to do on the main sight of Petra.
Descend to a secret passageway
If you're feeling adventurous descend the 375 steps through the hill into an amazing secret passageway that leads to a subterranean spring. Climb up a ladder to surface outside Shobak Castle. Tread carefully, it's not the easiest walk!
