Communal Hotels was first set up in Tbilisi by a special group of creative entrepreneurs seeking to savour the beauty of Georgia's heritage and architectural history. Giving life back to these often rundown townhouses, the creators have successfully maintained the romance and character of these old buildings, whilst introducing modern elements which not only add style but also a touch of luxury. Now in Telavi, the Communal Hotel offers its guests an exclusive and intimate experience, going above and beyond with boutique design details and high end service levels. There are a range of different rooms and suites to choose from, some offering more space, others with a terrace or balcony, and guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast of fresh Georgian produce straight from the local market. Lunch and dinner is not available here but the hotel is well-located in the centre of the old town and within walking distance of a number of great local restaurants and cafes.
