This old colonial house is located in a fashionable, winding street in old town Quito (giving the hotel its name) and although set inside a 1738 building, underwent an extensive refurbishment to provide high contemporary standards and modern bathrooms whilst retaining traditional elements. The 22 en-suite rooms are set around a central courtyard with outward facing windows and amenities that include cable TV and Wi-Fi. There is no restaurant, but superb eateries can be found just on the hotel’s doorstep and many of the city’s historic highlights are within walking distance. The surrounding neighbourhood of La Ronda has been rejuvenated and is considered the city's artistic hub.
