A peaceful escape in the beautiful Cambodian countryside, the charming Battambang Resort has become a solid favourite in this area. Located just outside of town, the property offers lush tropical gardens which surround a stunning saltwater pool and jacuzzi. Run by a fantastic team, the resort also features a restaurant located on the first floor of the complex, which is home to some delicious local dishes, as well as clean, spacious rooms dotted around the property. Although it is located out of town (approx. 15 mins), the team do provide a free shuttle into town at set times of the day, and you can also borrow one of their bicycles to explore the surrounding area.
