In our 25th birthday year, we're choosing 25 of our best experiences to be enjoyed in Europe and the Caucasus.

1. STEP INTO THE WILD IN THE ACCURSED MOUNTAINS, Albania

Home to isolated mountain villages and remote forest trails, the Albanian Alps offer some of the most stunning scenery in Europe. Enjoy picnic lunches complimented by dramatic views, and soak up the local hospitality of the farming families you stay with within this very special unexplored northern region.

2. WALK ALONG PRISTINE COASTAL TRAILS, Albania

Make your way along the southern coast on foot and soak up magnificent mountain vistas on one side and breathtaking panoramic views of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas on the other.

3. VISIT THE STRIKING SEVAN MONASTERY, Armenia

The largest and highest lake in the Caucasus, at Lake Sevan you can visit the picturesque Monastery of Sevan, built in 874 and on a small peninsula overlooking the lake.

Visit a nearby village and take part in a bread-making masterclass in a local home. Armenia’s national bread, called “lavash”, is included in the UNESCO intangible heritage list and is a delicious snack enjoyed across the nation.

Sheki is one of the oldest towns in the Caucasus, founded more than 2,700 years ago. Here discover the work of jewellers, potters, engravers and embroiders, who for centuries have sold their goods to Moscow, St Petersburg and even Western Europe.
