Mushara Outpost, Eastern Etosha

Mushara Outpost sits just 10 km from the Von Lindequist Gate of the world famous Etosha National Park and can accommodate up to 16 guests in luxurious tented rooms nestled on the banks of the Omnramba, an ancient dry riverbed. The main house is styled like a traditional farmhouse with a corrugated iron roof, high walls and a spacious wrap around north-east facing veranda to take advantage of the shade. The ambience of Mushara Outpost is similar to that of a well-lived and cosy home, with a welcoming and personal service. The tents are mounted on a wooden deck, a metre and a half above the ground, which provides a slightly elevated perspective of the bush. Tents are en-suite with a unique, glass, shower cubicle. A large glass sliding door leads into the tent and large, floor-to-ceiling, glass windows maintain the wild and peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding nature. The property is fitted with air-conditioning to help with the warm afternoons.
