Al Fundok, Shouf Biosphere Reserve

Opened in 2019, Al Fundok was renovated from an old school and hostel into a stylish, bohemian guesthouse. The 17 rooms all feature private bathrooms and simple, yet colourful, interiors. The perfect base for hiking and mountain biking, the property is situated close to Cedar Shouf Reserve and therefore respects the environment by being plastic free and using solar energy. Other activities that can be organised include wine tasting and visits to an olive press, essential oil maker, tile maker and beekeeper. Em Boutros Le Restaurant has a lovely location in the garden, enjoy a meal there before swinging in the hammock, sipping on a drink at the bar or taking part in a yoga class in the shade of the Cedars.
