The River Resort boasts an enviable location amongst the peaceful banks of the Mekong in Southern Laos. Secluded from Champasak amidst Southern Laos’ amazing natural scenery, yet within easy access of town and just 8 kilometres from Wat Phou, The River Resort offers a soothing spot to absorb Laos’ famous laid back ambiance. The resort offers 20 stylish villas with fantastic views either over the Mekong river or the resort’s own rice terrace and private lawns. Touched with contemporary Lao and Thai designs, each villa features a private veranda for atmosphere absorption as well as an open-air shower. Overlooking the Mekong and surrounded by shady tropical trees, the infinity pool gives respite from the afternoon heat and there is also a small massage pavilion. Meals are served in the spacious riverside sala which includes a comfortable lounge and an open air dining area with Western and Laotian cuisine.
