One of the first ecolodges in Monterverde, this lovely lodge is located in Santa Elena town, the gateway to the renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, in a secluded area, just off the town’s centre. The property is set amongst extensive gardens with a scenic, heated outdoor pool. Strolling around the hotel’s grounds, guests will come across the indoor butterfly garden. The 28 rooms offer wonderful views of the forest and have elegant décor, charming wooden furniture and fans. Rooms lack televisions to encourage guests to make the most of their wonderful surroundings and, with so much to do in the area, shouldn’t be missed. The lodge's El Jardin Bar & Restaurant offers a bar setting around an open fireplace with the menu offering a gourmet take on traditional Costa Rican recipes made with fresh, local ingredients. Being within town means that there is also a variety of dining options nearby within walking distance.
