For those with a little more time this is THE tour to tick off those must-see sights and delve a little deeper into the diverse and fascinating cultures of Southeast Asia.
Starting in Vietnam you’ll work your way from South to North, experiencing the eclectic culture, cuisine and day-to-day life along the way. The stop in the Mekong Delta, staying at the stunning new Azerai Hotel, is a unique way to have the Mekong River right on your doorstep and make sure you see the floating markets and back waterways before the crowds arrive. In Central Vietnam you’ll make lanterns, try amazing food and explore the countryside. In Hanoi you once again will be trying the local delicacies and learning more about both ancient and more recent war history.
From Vietnam it’s on to the enchanting sights and sounds of Laos. Here you’ll boat down the Mekong River, explore the night market and enjoy some time meeting local weavers and rice wine makers. In Cambodia you can receive a water blessing by a monk and of course see the majestic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. You can visit Phare, the acrobatic show that is jaw dropping and supports local street children to get off the streets. It’s then back to Saigon for one last night out on the town before flying home!
