Located 18 km out of Sapa town in northern Vietnam, Topas Ecolodge nestles on top of a hill looking down on the green valley below. Brought about by a cooperation between a Danish tour operator and a local Vietnamese family it opened its doors in 2005 and remains to this day a unique experience. For those seeking luxury this is not the place to come, however for those keen on a simple and genuine getaway this place is a paradise, offering some of the best views in the whole region. There is a pool complimented by the views, and plenty of opportunities for hiking, interacting with the local communities as well as just taking some time away from the hustle and bustle of Vietnam's busier areas.
