Best experiences

Visit the last emir’s summer palace
Visit the summer palace of Bukhara's last emir. The palace is an eclectic mix of Oriental and European design and contains a good collection of suzanis (traditional embroidery) and Chinese porcelain brought to Bukhara by camel caravan in the 19th century.
Take a plov masterclass
Head to a local's home for a plov masterclass where you will learn and witness how a traditional Uzbek plov is prepared and made, before sitting down to enjoy the meal communally. This is a fun way to engage with the local culture over dinner.
