Madagascar What To Do

See the largest of Madagascar’s lemurs

Andasibe National Park is a huge area of tropical rainforest home to no fewer than nine species of lemur, including the beautiful Indri Indri, the largest lemur on the island. Within these tracts of forest and located not far from Vakona Forest Lodge is the Analamazoatra Reserve. You will be able to enjoy excellent sightings of them thanks to the incredible eyesight and intuition of your local guide on a hike through the tropical rainforest. The reserve has well marked paths and is generaly considered to be less challenging than neighbouring Mantadia National Park.
