Photograph rare baobabs

The park is home to a small number of the rarest of Madagascar’s baobabs the Adansonia perrieri which can be seen after tackling one of the park’s walking trails. At almost 25 metres tall they are a wonderful sight to behold and make for great photography subjects.

Spot crowned lemurs

Amber Mountain is one of the best parks in Madagascar to spot beautiful crowned lemurs, one of the two diurnal species in the park which are habituated to visitors. Walks in the late part of the morning offer the best opportunity to see them as they become more active as it starts to warm up.…
