Mujib Chalets, Dead Sea
Our rating: Superior | Property style: Lodge
Opened in 2008, the Mujib Chalets are owned by Wild Jordan, an initiative which aims to create sustainable economic and social benefits for local communities in order to protect nature. Income from Mujib Chalets goes directly to support conservation programs and local people. Using the natural assets of Mujib Nature Reserve, the Mujib chalet village is set along the shores of the Madash peninsula. All of the 15 double rooms have outstanding views of the Dead Sea, best enjoyed from the private, shaded sun terrace. Facilities include air conditioning, separate shower blocks and toilets. The on site restaurant serves home-made traditional local meals which can be arranged into packed lunches for adventure excursions within the reserve such as hiking and canyoning.
