Tour starts in Baku

Day 1

Today is an arrival day with the suggested flights not arriving until late evening.

In Baku

Day 2

Travel to the Absheron Peninsula to visit the “fire mountain” then onto the UNESCO site at Qobustan.

Baku – Lahij

Day 3

In the morning we explore Baku before heading into the foothills of the Caucasus at Lehij village.

Lahij – Seki

Day 4

There will be a chance to wander around the village and chat with the locals before heading on to the former trading town of Seki.

Day 5

We have all day to see Khan’s Palace, the museum and local market as well as visit neighbouring Kis.

Seki – Telavi (Georgia)

Day 6

We cross the border today into Georgia’s wine growing region and visit the Nekresi Monastery and a church at Gremi.

Telavi – Gori

Day 7

After having chance to wander around a farmers' market, we will drive on to the Georgian State Museum on our way to Gori.

Gori – Kazbegi

Day 8

Gori is the birthplace of Joseph Stalin and we visit the museum before driving into the mountains.

Kazbegi – Tbilisi

Day 9

We'll walk for two hours to the iconic Gergeti Church before heading to Tbilisi, visiting two UNESCO sites en route.

In Tbilisi

Day 10

We tour Old Tbilisi taking in Metekhi Church, Narikala Fortress, the Sulphur Baths and other sites.

Tbilisi – Dilijan (Armenia)

Day 11

We enter Armenia and visit Haghartsin monastery before reaching Dilijan.

Dilijan – Goris

Day 12

We will visit the medieval Sevanavank Monastery before continuing on to Goris via the Selim Caravanserai.

Goris – Yerevan

Day 13

Today we will visit Tatev Monastery, reached by cable car, before making our way towards Yerevan via the dramatically located Noravank Monastery.

In Yerevan area

Day 14

Today we will enjoy the sightseeing around the Armenian capital, Yerevan.

Tour ends in Yerevan

Day 15

The tour ends after breakfast.
