Thomas' love for travel was sparked from a very young age, going with his family on many trips to North America, as well as parts of Europe, and South Africa. He got to discover so much about people, aviation, fashion, culture, food, and hospitality. Thomas is really into photography/videography because of this too.
Thomas grew up in Dublin Ireland, taking regular visits to London with his dad, before moving to North Yorkshire with his family and moving out at aged 18 to pursue a career in London.
Thomas studied Travel & Tourism at college. Once he moved to London, he fuelled his love for international fashion by completing an Apprenticeship at Harvey Nichols, and is now working for Wild Frontiers!
Q: Favourite city:
A: Vancouver, Canada; real seasons, and you get the best of both worlds, national parks and dramatic mountain scenery on one side, then the hustle and bustle of city life to the other. Combine that with the laid-back and open attitude of Vancouverites, it is very civilised and beautiful.
Q: Favourite country:
A: South Africa; such a rich history and culture, superior hospitality, breathtakingly awesome views, and the best sunrises/sunsets out there. I love how close you can get to the wildlife.
Q: Favourite meal:
A: Japanese, Sushi and some Sake is my preferred. Anything Matcha-based is a yes from me too.
Q: Most memorable journey:
A: Either taking a stargazing excursion through the Kruger National Park, taking a coastal road trip with my family in Southern California, or my father flying me across the British countryside in a light aircraft.
Q: Favourite travel advice:
A: If you suffer from motion sickness, have something ginger-based before or on your journey, breathe deeply and relax! Better than any motion sickness medication.
Q: Next on my must-see list:
A: Japan, South Korea.
