Therese is a New Zealand native with a thirst for adventure. Growing up in the Waikato, then Auckland, the great outdoors, beaches and adventures come second nature. Setting off at age 17, Therese moved to Parma, Italy for a year on a high school exchange which gave her the passion for Italian food, language and culture, leading to her Bachelor of Arts in English and Italian language.
Relocating to London at the age of 22, Therese entered the travel industry working for a large backpacker’s hostel in Kings Cross. Time soon came to set off on another grand adventure, traversing Eastern Europe, Turkey and Israel before venturing back to New Zealand for a break. In 2015, Therese backpacked through South East Asia and hiked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Therese hit the road again to backpack from Mexico City down to Colombia in early 2016, before making the final move to London which she now calls home. Therese was quickly swooped up by a large group tour operator, helping to shape the customer service and product teams. She is ecstatic to be working for Wild Frontiers and excited to make her mark on the adventure travel industry.
