Ruby-Tiger grew up on a farm in the Suffolk countryside. After studying at Durham University, she worked teaching Physical Education at a school in London.

Having thoroughly enjoyed her involvement in the school's extracurricular outdoor education programme, she decided to pursue a career in the adventure travel industry.

Since then she has travelled to lots of amazing destinations including Nepal, India, South America, South East Asia, Canada, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Ruby Tiger now works in the Operations team at Wild Frontiers.
