Daniel was raised in various countries namely Argentina, Mexico, Germany, England and the USA before turning eighteen. As a result of his upbringing he speaks fluent German, Spanish and English. He initially started working in travel before going to university in Mexico City. He was given the opportunity to take travellers and business men to remote non-touristy villages and temples around Mexico – at this time in the 1990s some places were incredibly challenging to reach. He remembers spending days on very poor roads travelling in 4x4s in the middle of nowhere with no modern means of communication (no mobile coverage or internet). Quite an adventure! After studying Hotel Business Administration he decided to continue travelling, crossing borders into Central America. After many years exploring the different routes in Latin America, he decided to pursue further opportunities with adventure travel companies and lifestyle management organisations to other destinations such as Montenegro, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Mongolia, China, Tibet, Laos and Cambodia, which allowed him to gain more diverse travel experiences. He has now joined our operations team and continues to travel.
