One of the most dramatic and haunting landscapes on earth, Canada’s vast northern tundras provide the backdrop to this breathtaking Arctic Safari. From the shores of the Hudson Bay, to the great tundra plains of the Barren Lands, your journey will take you deep into the heart of the home of the mighty polar bear, the majestic ‘Kings of the Arctic’. Here, amongst landscapes little seen by outsiders, you’ll enjoy wildlife encounters, second to none, as you join your expert guides on an adventure that will encompass some 20,000 square kilometres of some of the wildest regions of the Arctic.
Beginning in Churchill, on the shores of the Hudson Bay, you’ll spend some time enjoying the hospitality of the Seal River Lodge and its resident bear populations, before continuing on to the isolated setting of the Schmok Lake Tundra Camp. Here, amongst the remote vastness of the Barren Lands, you’ll experience two days of glamping like no other, as you search out wolves, caribou, Arctic foxes and three species of bear.
