We started in Udaipur, which has the perfect sized old city centre for visiting by foot and rickshaw - which gladly take a family of 5! The kids had painting lessons, a private puppet show, had clothes fitted and made, swam in our hotel rooftop swimming pool, fed cows in the streets and took in the relaxed atmosphere of the city as we wandered the streets. At Deogarh we had bike rides – with our 3 year old on a handlebar seat! – and horse riding; at Bhenswara we spotted leopards on a night time safari, had henna painting and bullock cart rides; and at Manwar we rode camels out in to desert and ate our evening meal around the camp fire. All in all a great holiday.
