The trip to Pakistan was fabulous - so much more than I expected. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The scenery was magnificent with snow-capped peaks and beautiful autumn colours around every corner. The culture was interesting - where else in the world would they roll burning tyres down the hill side to celebrate 60 years of Aga Khan's visit to Hunza! With WILD FRONTIERS' contacts we met some fascinating characters from the 93 year old colonel to the spokeperson for the Kalash, Saifullah Jan. It was certainly a trip of a lifetime and I would thoroughly recommend it!
