When Lulu told me about the recce riding trip in Bhutan I jumped at it without asking the cost. After I learned it I spent nine months wondering how I could possibly justify the extravagance. However a few hours in that wonderful country with its people, colour, designs, food, buildings and vistas and I realised that of my eight horse treks this would be the best at combining adventure with culture. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny - and much, much more. It shouldn't be missed and that we all asked Lulu to organise a return trek in 2016 to discover more of it says it all. It was an enormous treat from start to finish. We were so lucky.
