This trip was extraordinary. The itinerary was marvellous and perfectly paced for us. We had all the benefits and security of a tour, such as top accommodations and a knowledgeable driver-guide, combined with the freedom to linger at particular sites, and explore on our own. As a result, we were able to meaningfully experience Iranian history, culture and society, sharing innumerable exchanges, photos and conversations with the remarkable people of Iran.

The major highlights of the tour? The people....the sense of freedom and the ability to explore and engage on our own whenever we preferred. Our driver-guide was most sensitive to this. We had countless exchanges and conversations that we will forever cherish. Of course, the history and sites are incomparable. Esfahan, Kashan and Shiraz were more beautiful than we remember , and we are so pleased we went into Qom and onto Eastern Azerbaijan province, Tabriz and Jolfa where the spring flowers and snow capped mountains were breath- taking.

(Our consultant) Marianne was always prompt, completely professional and responsive throughout our entire trip planning and anticipation status. When she was out of the office, her colleagues were equally helpful.
