I just loved this trip: it was up there among my top favourites. The infrastructure was excellent: superb tour leader, good guide, well-balanced well-chosen itinerary, and lovely stopping places. I found the people of Sudan to be among the most warm, friendly and welcoming I have encountered anywhere. The itinerary itself was excellent: well balanced (with a mix of) the cultural, archeological, fun, comfort and 'wild'.
