We had the most brilliant time at Bijaipur, where the balance of what we could do to what we actually did was perfect. Never feeling rushed or harried, yet always knowing there was plenty of occupy us should we feel inclined it was the perfect way to relax after a hard and busy year. Highlights for me included camping by the lotus lake in the luxury tents, the new years eve party, dawn walks, a brief sojourn in Udaipur and the friendly attentions of Narendra and his family. Though Wild Frontiers relationship with them, we felt more like house guests than paying clients. I can thoroughly recommend this trip – especially for those looking for a comfortable introduction to all the wonders of the Indian subcontinent.
