Getting to Ladakh the hard way, by road, was an adventure in itself. Working our way up through the foothills to the second highest road pass in the world at 17,500 feet was superb but not for the faint hearted! Dropping down to 12,000 feet made the trekking more manageable but the stunning scenery and mountain paths made up for any lack of oxygen. An unforgettable experience, WILD FRONTIERS cannot be faulted.
