I can’t believe how much we packed into just two weeks, but it never felt rushed. The trip to Guatemala was a fantastic and fascinating, dazzlingly colourful mix of culture, history and nature, and the balance between them just right. The local people were lovely and the scenery sensational. I can’t pick a best bit because it was all the best. David was a terrific tour leader – dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable and illuminating on all aspects of Guatemalan/Mayan history, tactful, and outwardly – at least - utterly calm and in control when very occasionally something didn’t go according to plan.
