Having spent years organising my own adventure holidays, it was a huge relief to leave it to someone else - and Wild Frontiers really came up trumps. My trip to East India and Bhutan had everything I was looking for; an exciting itinerary, interesting and fun people to travel with and in Jonny a wonderful guide who was always incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and calm - even at Calcutta railway station! I have some wonderful memories of our trip, not just the usual touristy kind, but the quirky ones too: spotting a rare one-horned rhino during an elephant ride; catching the first rays of sunlight on Katchenjunga; having the honour of being allowed to enter a monks bedroom at Wangdue monastery; and of course the amazing festival at Paro. All that remains now is for me to put my 15 films into a photo album and decide which of Wild Frontiers trips to do next. It certainly wont be long!
