I went to Kyrgyzstan with my son and then to Uzbekistan where my daughter joined us. We all had an amazing time and saw some breathtaking mountain scenery and interesting historic cultural sites. Everywhere we went we were met with kindness and hospitality and in Kyrgyzstan, if we had a pound for every time people wanted to be photographed with us, we could have paid for part of our trip!
