Margaret & Jim Irving

This was truly a wonderful tour, such a variety of locations and experiences crammed into the two weeks, and John Potts was a brilliant tour leader.

Great itinerary with many highlights... nature, scenery and walking in it , cities - loved Cuenca and Quito Old Town, sea crossings...and I saw Blue Footed Boobies, a life long wish! The Chimborazo trek would have probably been too much for me, however the waterfall outing we did instead was super and a recommended alternative. Some of the locations were stunning and we could have happily spent extra days at Banos, Isabela and Santa Cruz.

The accomodation was excellent - we appreciated that when we were well off the beaten track the accomodation might be basic, but it was all clean and comfortable, and often quirkily interesting. All were charming properties, each unique and we particularly loved Casa Marita on Isabela - a little bit of paradise!

We cannot pick just one highlight. The whole trip was wonderful and just as good as our first Wild Frontiers trip to Bhutan. Best two trips ever and we are fully hooked on the Wild Frontiers approach.
