Wild Frontiers have a unique ability to be able to not only find the best guides and support staff (the food was almost cuisine at the desert camp) but also a talent for sniffing out some real gems truly off the beaten track, even for the Libyan outback. Among other memorable experiences was washing my hair at an oasis well, after camping for 5 nights without sight of running water.
