So many highlights on this trip! From an exceptional tour leader, to the vast and varied landscapes, we visited awe inspiring ruins at Tiwanaku, spiritual Lake Titicaca and even a Kallawaya witch doctor. From the trek across Sun Island (and a blessing from an indigenous priest), to colourful locals villages and markets, we enjoyed night skies and beautiful sunsets. Our journey took us to pretty Sucre, the picturesque countryside (meeting the weavers at La Candelaria), to smoke filled Potosi, the dazzling Salar da Uyuni Salt Flats, and on to the coca and coffee plantations of Coroico - hurtling down Death Road into the steamy Yungas….
